Call for Seminars

ICDE 2009 will host tutorials during the conference. Proposals on all topics covered by the ICDE conference are invited, either for single-session (1.5 hour) or for double-session (3 hour). We especially encourage seminars that targeted at research/industry knowledge transfer, e.g., industrial state-of-the-art tutorials intended to inform the research community or research tutorials aimed at informing the industrial community of recent or current developments of interest.

Each submission of proposed tutorial should include:

  • tutorial title
  • a preferred duration (1.5 or 3 hours)
  • an abstract
  • an outline detailing the proposed scope and depth of coverage of the targeted topic(s)
  • a description of intended audience
  • a short biography of the proposed presenter(s)
  • if the tutorial or its earlier version has been presented elsewhere, the proposal should indicate those respective events, dates, and how the current proposal differs from other editions of the tutorial.

Please submit your proposals via electronic mail to the Seminar Program Co-Chairs.
