- Author must complete the registration by August 7, 2007. Otherwise, the author's paper will NOT be included in the
conference proceedings. General participants must complete the registration by September 22, 2007 in order to qualify for the early
registration rate.
- Accepted papers must have at least one author registration. There is no student rate for author registration.
- Author registering for N papers needs to pay N x registration fee.
- For ICEBE 2007, the length of a regular paper should not exceed 8 pages; the length of an industrial paper should not exceed 6 pages;
and the length of a short paper should not exceed 4 pages.
- For SOSE/SOAIC 2007, the length of a regular paper should not exceed 8 pages and the length of a short paper should not exceed 4 pages.
- For SOKM 2007, the length of a regular paper should not exceed 6 pages and the length of a short paper should not exceed 4 pages.
- Extra pages are charged HKD 1170 (~USD 150) per page. A maximum of two extra pages is
allowed for each paper.
- All registrants must register using the online registration page to
obtain a tracking number (this tracking number is NOT equal to your paper ID). Registrants may then make the payment online by credit card or
offline by credit card/cheque/bank draft. Please see the "Payment Methods" section for details.
- Email confirmation of conference registration will be sent by the ICEBE 2007 Financial Chair within seven days of
receiving your registration. If you do not receive the confirmation, please email us at hfting@cs.hku.hk. Please include "ICEBE 2007" in the subject line.
- To qualify for the discounted IEEE member rate, you must be a member of IEEE or the IEEE Computer Society.
Please include your membership number(s) in the registration form.
- To qualify for the full-time student rate, you must be a student who is attending university on a full-time basis.
- Non-IEEE members can save immediately by applying online now for IEEE membership or IEEE Computer Society membership.

You can pay in HKD only if you make the payment online by credit card. You can pay in either HKD or USD (preferably in HKD) if you use any of the
offline payment methods listed above (i.e., paying offline by credit card/cheque/bank draft).
- On-site registrants will pay late registration fees. Credit cards (MasterCard or VISA) are the preferred form of
payment. All cheques should be made payable to The University of Hong Kong.
