Welcome. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong. I received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of Toronto, Canada, and both my M.Engr. and B.Engr. degrees from the Department of Computer Science and Technology in Tsinghua University, China.

Research Interest

My current research spans peer-to-peer networks and wireless networks. I am interested in algorithm design and performance modeling of various distributed systems based on a variety of theories, including optimization, game theory, graph theory, and network coding. I am also interested in extensive measurement and statistical study of large-scale Internet systems, to explore problems and derive insights towards their improvement.
