注意事項 Points to note:
* 參賽隊伍請在簡報開始前最少二十分鐘到達講堂準備。 組員可於簡報前取回他們的作品,利用自携之工具整修。參賽作品需於簡報後交回大會評審。
Teams are advised to arrive at the lecture theatre at least 20 minutes before the start time of presentation to prepare. Participants can take back their deliverables for repair and touch up before the presentation using their own tools. The deliverables have to be returned to the organizer for judging after the presentation.
* 場館會提供VGA連接埠、電腦及投影機。大會可安排裝有 Microsoft Office 之 Windows 7 供參賽隊伍簡報之用。大會之電腦可上網。
VGA Connection, computer and projector are available at the presentation venue. Platforms available for presentation include Windows 7 with Microsoft Office suite. Organizer-provided computers are Internet-enabled.
* 參賽隊伍可連接自携之手提電腦至大會之投射器。解像度請用 1024x768, 60Hz 或以下。簡報前請先將手提電腦起動。
Teams can connect their notebook computers to the projector for presentation. Use standard VGA cable for connection. Resolution should be set to 1024x768, 60Hz or lower. Please boot up your notebook computer before connecting it to the projector.
* 每隊有十八分鐘時間,其中十五分鐘用作簡報,餘下三分鐘則用作連線、 準備、評判討論等。建議參賽者利用約十分鐘介紹及演示其作品,五分鐘 解答評審團的問題。
An 18-minute slot is allocated to each team. Each group is expected to use 15 minutes for presentation. The 3-minutes slack time is for overheads such as computer connection, set up, clean up and judge discussion. Participants are suggested to spend about 10 minutes for presentation and/or demonstration, and 5 minutes for questions and answers from the judges.
* 隊伍需於簡報當天呈交簡報檔案。檔案請存於CDROM內。
The presentation media files such as PowerPoint, flash, or video should be submitted, on CDROM on the day of presentation.
* 簡報可用廣東話或英語。
The presentation can be in Cantonese or English.
* 參賽隊伍須填一份簡單的表格,記錄誰作簡報及誰有出席。隊員需清楚核 對表格上的英文姓名及學校名稱,資料將用作列印證書之用。
A form will be handed to each team for filling out who the presenters are, and, optionally, who are in attendance. Please also verify the English names and school names carefully, as they will be used for printing certificates.
* 簡報開放予任何人旁聽。家長、同學、教師均歡迎出席簡報會。講堂可容 納約 120人 。
The presentation is open to all interested parties. Parents, fellow students and teachers are welcome to the presentation sessions. The lecture theatre can accommodate about 120 people.
* 參賽隊伍亦須填寫一份有關出席頒獎典禮之表格。詳情如下:
  • 時間:2016-05-21[Sat] 10:30-12:00
  • 地點: 香港大學周亦卿樓地下A講堂
  • 所有參賽隊伍均獲邀請出席頒獎典禮, 所有參賽者均可上台領取參賽證書。
  • 比賽結果將於頒獎典禮上公布。冠軍隊伍將需要即場介紹其參賽作品。
  • 主辦單位將邀請傳媒出席頒獎典禮。傳媒或會在頒獎典禮後訪問各得獎隊伍。
  • 每隊需派出至少一位代表出席頒獎典禮。由於所有參賽者均獲頒發參賽證書,敬希所有組員及老師出席。
  • 場地於頒獎典禮後會繼續開放給同學們拍照及傳媒採訪。老師如要安排校車接送同學,請預留時間作出適當安排。
  • 參賽隊伍必須於頒獎典禮後取回參賽作品。已提交的文字報告則不會發還參賽隊伍。
參賽者需於簡報當天派發的表格上註明各隊員會否出席 2016﹣05﹣21[Sat] 舉行之頒獎典禮。如所有隊員不能出席,學校需另派 老師或同學代表出席領獎。請於表格上填寫代表姓名及聯絡方法。家長、 同學、教師均歡迎出席頒獎典禮,請註明額外座位數量。如非參賽者出席 人數多於講堂坐位數量,坐位將以抽籤形式分配。

Each team is also required to fill in a form related to the Prize Presentation Ceremony. The details are as follows:
  • Time: 2016-05-21[Sat] 10:30-12:00
  • Venue: Theater A, G/F, Chow Yei Ching Building, The University of Hong Kong
  • All participating teams are invited to the award presentation ceremony. Each participant will be on stage to receive the participation certificate.
  • The winners will be announced in the ceremony. The Champion teams are required to present their work.
  • Media are invited to the ceremony. Winning teams may be interviewed after the ceremony.
  • Each team should have at least one representative to attend the ceremony. Since all participants will receive participation certificates, it is suggested that the team and their teacher attend the ceremony.
  • The presentation venue will continue to be open for photo taking and media interview after the ceremony. Teachers who need to arrange school transportation please take note and make appropriate arrangements.
  • Please take away the submitted invention after the Award Presentation Ceremony. The submitted reports will not be given back to the teams.
Participants are required to fill in the form provided on the day of Presentation Session, to indicate whether each of the participants will attend the Prize Presentation Ceremony on 2016-05-21[Sat]. If all the team members cannot attend, a representative from school is required to attend the ceremony to collect the certificates. Please fill in the name of the representative and his/her contact method on the form. Parents, teachers and classmates are also welcome. Please indicate the extra number of seats required. Seats for non-participants will be randomly allocated in case the total number of people attending the ceremony is more than the capacity of the venue.
惡劣天氣安排 Adverse Weather Arrangements:
* 若香港天文台發出8號或以上的熱帶氣旋或紅色或黑色暴雨警告信號時,作品簡報將會有以下安排:
When Tropical Storm Warning Signal No. 8 (or above) or the Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal has been issued, the following arrangements will apply:
  • 若警告在上午6:15或之前生效,上午的簡報活動將自動取消。
    If either of the warnings has been issued or in force at or before 6:15am, the morning sessions will be canceled automatically.
  • 若警告在正午12:00或之後生效,下午的簡報活動將自動取消。
    If either of the warnings has been issued or in force at or after 12:00 noon, the afternoon session will be canceled automatically.
  • 若警告信號於正午12:00前除下,下午的簡報活動將如期進行。
    If the warnings is canceled on or before 12:00 noon, the afternoon session will be resumed.
* 如作品簡報已經開始:
If the presentation has already started:
  • 若天文台發出八號預警, 所有簡報將會立即暫停。
    When Tropical Storm Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, all presentation sessions will be suspended immediately.
  • 若天文台發出紅色或黑色暴雨警告訊號,簡報會將繼續進行。演示室將保持開放,直至參賽者可以安全離開為止。
    When Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted, the presentation sessions would continue. The presentation room will remain open until it is safe for the participants to return home.

Use standard-compliant browswers such as Firefox (multiplatform) or Safari on Mac OS X for best experience.
