The 8th ISVD International Symposium on Voronoi Diagrams in Science and Engineering will be held in Qingdao, China from the 28th to the 30th of June 2011.

Submission

Abstract Submission (April 8th, 2011)

Authors are invited to submit their abstract no more than 250 words on the conference online submission system through the Easy Chair as soon as possible.

This will allow us to be better prepared for the review process for the full papers. If you have any difficulties with the submission process, please contact us:

Full Paper Submission (April 15th, 2011)

Authors are invited to submit papers (up to 10 pages), describing original research in the fields related to Voronoi diagrams, Delaunay triangulations and their applications in sciences and engineering. All submitted papers will be refereed for their quality, originality and relevance by the Programme Committee. The acceptance or rejection of a paper will be based on the review of the full paper.

Camera Ready Version of Papers

All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the symposium (with ISBN), to be published by the Conference Publishing Services (CPS) and will be available online.

Camera ready of final papers will be published online and must be submitted directly to Conference Publishing Services (CPS) at:

http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/submission

Selected papers (up to 10) will be published in a special issue for the ISVD2011 in the Journal of Transactions on Computational Science.

Presentation (June 28th-30th, 2011)

The preferred presentation format is PowerPoint. We will provide overhead projector or PC connects to the data projectors. If you are going to bring along your own laptop, please make sure you can connect it to the projector before the beginning of your session.

Authors will be given maximum of 20 minutes for the presentation and discussion. Please make contact with the chair of your session at the start of the break before your presentation session. Names of session chairs will be available soon.
