I am Mr.Simon, Shiming ZHANG, pursuing my PhD degree in Database Research Group, Department of Computer Science, University of Hong Kong. My supervisor/co-supervisor are Prof. David, W.L. CHEUNG and Dr. Nikos Mamoulis. I received my M.S. degree from the Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences, Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, P.R.China in 2006. My research interests include Data Mining for Large-scale and High Dimensional Data, Data Mining in Finance, Search/Clustering in High Dimensional Spaces, and Constraint Satisfaction Problems.
