Machine comprehension of court cases

About this project

Project Introduction

Hong Kong is a common law jurisdiction, meaning past court cases are legally binding in making a judgement. Most of the legal principles are rooted in past cases, making court cases a valuable resource of legal knowledge. This project aims at extracting useful legal information from the court cases, which the information can then be used for further application such as knowledge graph and query answering.
