Deadlines:
The camera-ready
versions of accepted papers and the signed copyright forms are due on
December 28th, 2010 and are to be submitted to ASIACCS 2011
EasyChair using your EasyChair author account.
At least one author of
each accepted paper should register as "Author" for the conference before
January 31st, 2011.
Preparation of the final versions:
Each paper should be
prepared using the official ACM SIG proceedings format. Templates are
available at
http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates/. Please use
Option 2 – Tighter Alternate style.
Authors unsure of how
to classify their paper according to the ACM classification system can find
more information at
http://www.acm.org/class/how_to_use.html. You can access the Computing
Classification Scheme directly at
http://www.acm.org/about/class/1998.
All papers should have
Type 1 fonts (scalable), not Type 3 (bit-mapped). All fonts must be
embedded within the PDF file:
If using Adobe
Reader, from the menu select File->Properties... and then select the Fonts
tab. You should see "(Embedded Subset)" next to
each font and there should be no Type 3 fonts.
From a *nix terminal,
execute the pdffonts command on your PDF document. The
listing should show no Type 3 fonts, and all fonts listed should have "yes"
under "emb" and "sub".
Each paper should have
one PDF file and all the source files submitted. The PDF file should be
named as follows: asiaccs<paper no>-firstauthorlastname.pdf.
Example: if John Smith were the first author of the paper with number 120,
the file name would be: asiaccs120-smith.pdf.
The PDF file and all the source files should be zipped into one
file with the filename set to asiaccs<paper no>-firstuathorlastname.zip
Each paper should have
no page numbers.
Each regular
paper can have up to 10 pages, and each
short paper can have up to 5 pages in the ACM
proceedings format.
The authors can
purchase up to 2 additional pages at US$150 per page. Payment for extra
pages should be made by one author at the time of registration.
Each paper should
include the following copyright information at the bottom of the first page
left column:
"Permission to make
digital or hard copies of all or part of this work for personal or classroom
use is granted without fee provided that copies are not made or distributed
for profit or commercial advantage and that copies bear this notice and the
full citation on the first page. To copy otherwise, to republish, to post on
servers or to redistribute to lists, requires prior specific permission
and/or a fee.
