Description:

Due to the advance of Internet technology, commerce corporations are distributed globally Employees working in the same unit of an organization can be scattered into different places, and communication among those employees have to be carried over the Internet. An organizational communication framework that is efficient and secure is needed for a company entering the electronic commerce era.

This project studies the means for providing efficient and secure communication framework, basing on secure e-mail technologies, with the goal of prototyping one or more of the following topics:

  1. Interfacing with an enterprise security framework,
  2. interfacing with external public key infrastructure,
  3. secure messaging,
  4. secure video conferencing,
  5. multimedia document authorization architecture, and
  6. distribued project management.
