This is a cooperative project by the Hong Kong Airport Authority and HKU students. HKAA has started a smart airport project and the smart patrol robot is one of the major items in the project.
Currently, the smart patrol robot is used for detecting out-of-order lamp bulbs. However, HKAA wants to extend the use of the robot to more directions of applications. Besides, Hong Kong International Airport has a huge scale and bustling passenger traffic. We expect that the daily enquiries in the airport would be enormous. So, we decide to implement the Q&A chatbot.
