| With the blue screen, Dual-CPU Macintosh machines with 2G RAM and
other AV equipments, the Multimedia Lab at HW310 is a cool place to
go. Since not all of you are Mac users or have taken one of the
Multimedia courses here, the Multimedia Lab Social Club has invited
a
representative from Apple to hold a seminar to give you an overview
of
Apple hardware and software. This is the first activity of the Social
Club in 2005. The details are as follows:

Venue: HW310, Multimedia Laboratory
Representatives from Apple Computers Inc. will give an overview
of
the Apple Notebook, Desktop, iLife and Pro software, many of which
are
being used in the lab. Demonstrations on the Mac OS and Apple
software will also be given.
Also, Apple will offer educational discounts to students and staff
of CS and Music departments, the primary users of the MMLab.The
discounts are much better than the current Back To School offer,
on 12 inch iBook, 15 inch PowerBook, or 17 inch iMac G5, the details
will be revealed on the day of the talk.
