Total Sky Imager Design Competition - Weather Diary

Introduction

Though the "Total Sky Imager Design Competition" was suspended due to novel coronavirus situation this academic year, the organisers have decided to hold another event named “Weather Diary”. Participations should take photos and record their observations for 3-7 days, and submit the observation reports (including date, time, weather and amount of cloud) through the weather diary reporting form in a batch. There are 7 "weather diary" reports in the form. Participants who submit 3-6 and 7 days of "weather diary" will receive a "Certificate of Participation" and a "Certificate of Merit" respectively. Participants should submit their answers within the period from 16 July, 2020 00:00 to 16 August, 2020 23:59. Participants can join the activity at most once on an individual basis.

Regulations

  1. All primary and secondary school students of Hong Kong are welcome to take part in the "Weather Diary" activity. If you are a participant of "Total Sky Imager Design Competition", please use another form for joining this activity.
  2. Participants should submit their answers within the period from 1 June, 2020 00:00 to 16 August, 2020 23:59. Each participant should join the activity at most once on an individual basis.
  3. There are 7 "weather diary" reports in the form. Participants who submit at 3-6 and 7 days of "weather diary" will receive a "Certificate of Participation" and a "Certificate of Merit" respectively.
  4. Participations should take photos and record their observations for 3-7 days, and submit the observation reports through this form in a batch.
  5. Participants should fill in personal and teacher-in-charge information correctly. Electronic certificates will be sent to the teacher-in-charge through email on or before 31 August, 2020. Participants should obtain consent from teacher-in-charge before they fill in the teacher's email address.
  6. In case of any dispute, the decision of the organiser will be final and binding on all parties concerned.
