Taxi Express is the ultimate taxi caller you need. With Taxi Express, your request will be delivered efficiently through the Internet, without too much unnecessary interactions. By saving your favorite locations, time can be saved to a high extent.

Relevant Services

At the moment, taxi-calling service is mostly done over phone calls. Clients have to call the taxi centers, tell the origin and destination, then the staff will broadcast the request, and call back to the client when a driver responds. The current practice involves many layers of human interactions.

Some of the existing taxi calling apps provide users with phone numbers of taxi service centers, where customers still have to make an effort to dial. Taxi Express, on the other hand, saves the trouble by delivering their requests directly to the nearest drivers through the Internet. Users can also choose to call taxis from favorited bookmarks.

A web-based platform will be developed for taxi service centers, where staff can view customers' orders and taxis' locations conveniently and interact with these parties.

Implementation

Each user is required to register as a taxi driver and/or a customer. A customer can make a request by specifying the starting location, destination and arrival time. The request is then sent to nearby registered taxi drivers, who can accept or deny the request. If more than one driver accepts the request, the customer can choose his/her preference. Lastly, a confirmation message will be sent to the chosen driver.

As some customers may still prefer calling to service centers than specific drivers, Taxi Express also provides such function with the web-based platform to assist service centers to manage their orders.
