Introduction

Project Name : Object-oriented Motion Deblurring Technology for Forensic Video Enhancement (ITS/152/09)

Objective : The The objective of this project is to realize object-oriented motion deblurring technology for forensic video enhancement. Video footages for forensic purpose are normally captured from surveillance cameras, but the objects of interest are usually found to be blurred, making identification of objects difficult and a tediously time consuming process. This project aims at resolving this problematic issue by developing a novel object-oriented motion deblurring and a super-resolution method to enhance the clarity of the objects of interest. The outcome of this project is expected to help shortening the investigation time on video-based forensic substantially.

Project Duration : 12 months
