An Extensible Fault-Based Predicate Testing Toolset for
Wireless Sensor Network Software Applications


The primary objective is:

  • To design and implement a predicate testing toolset for the development of wireless sensor network (WSN) applications running on TinyOS using nesC as the implementation language.

Other objectives include:

  • To formulate product-line architecture for the testing of embedded software,
  • To enhance experience in the area of embedded software engineering,
  • To improve on the quality of WSN applications,
  • To test and enrich the capability of the fault class hierarchy and gain further insights on predicate testing, and
  • To provide the industry with a user-friendly toolset for the development of WSN applications.
