Enablling Personalized Corporate Wellness Programs with IoT
Abstract:
Personalized coaching is key to effective coporate wellness programs to ecourage different employee recipients to stay on-track with their differnt fitness and nutritional goals while considering their differnt health status. This talk will present a case of using Internet-of-Things (IoT) to enable personalized approaching, including collecting personal health and activity data, customizing incentive tracker and reporting, and providing periodic evaluation.
Biography:
Dr. Mian Dong is COO at MobiSport. Previously, he was a Staff Research Scientist with Samsung Research America. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the Rice University. Dr. Dong has published numerous papers in the area of mobile computing and received the Best Paper Award from ACM MobiSys 2011.
