Call for Demos
The ICDE Demonstrations program provides an exciting and highly interactive way to demonstrate your database systems research. Proposals for research prototype demonstration should focus on developments in the area of data and knowledge engineering, showing new technological advances in applying database systems or innovative data management/processing techniques.
All demonstration submissions must be within four pages in IEEE proceedings style (double-columned pages) and should provide:
- motivation for the demonstrated concepts,
- information about the technology and the system to be demonstrated (including a system description, functionality and figures when applicable),
- state the significance of the contribution
The selection criteria for the demonstration proposals evaluation include: the novelty, the technical advances and challenges, and the overall practical attractiveness of the demonstrated system.
Please submit your demo paper through the CMT site for ICDE 2009, specifying Demo Track.
